OB/GYN Physician (1099 Contract w/ potential for perm)

The Opportunity:

To meet growing needs for women’s health issues, we are seeking an OB/GYN Physician for a 1099 contract with potential to be hired permanently.

 Key Responsibilities:

▪ Deliver Top-Notch primary care services in a dynamic healthcare environment
▪ Serve as a valued internal consultant and resource for our client’s other providers including family practice physicians and nurse practitioners
▪ Collaborate with a dedicated team in a supportive and professional setting to ensure quality care in the Women’s Health Department
▪ Provide clinic consultations, education, and maintain accurate electronic medical records
▪ Attend meetings with the Chief Medical Officer and Nursing team as needed to address the Women’s Health Department’s requirements

Key Requirements:

▪ Medical License with understanding of FQHC/Community Health Medicine and populations served
▪ Completion of internship program for an approved hospital
▪ Board Certified or Board Eligible in recognized primary care medical specialty; New grads accepted
▪ Prior HRSA Health Center Program experience including FQHC or Look-Alike (LAL) setting with EPIC EMR experience preferred

Additional Details:

This position is centered around OBGYN procedures. However, if you’re passionate about women’s health and prefer to concentrate on gynecological care without the high volume of deliveries, this role can be tailored for you. Candidates desiring deliveries will have the option to do so.

Schedule:

40 hours per week Monday through Friday. Clinic is open 8am – 7pm and physicians will share in on-call rotation. Once providers have established patient care, they may remotely close patient notes from home.

Compensation:

Compensation is negotiable and will be determined based on experience, through the interview process. Productivity bonuses also available. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits including: Medical through Capital Blue Cross, HSA available, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Retirement plans, CME up to $4500, 5 CME days annually, providers receive reimbursement based on their employment status, PTO 224 hours per year, Student Loan Repayment Assistance through the State and NHSC.
