Regional Medical Science Liaison
The Opportunity:
We’ve just been retained by a growing, commercial-stage biotech that has pioneered, and commercialized life-changing innovations for patients. Their revolutionary diagnostics have lifted the standard of care within the disease areas on which they focus, directly impacting countless lives. As a young, growing organization with a formidable pipeline and multiple FDA-approved products, their strong MSL team enjoys a level of impact and career development that simply cannot be found in large organizations. Culturally and financially, our client could not be stronger; in fact, their employees receive compensation/benefits packages that rival (and often eclipse) those offered by even the largest, most generous companies. Their personalized solutions offer clinically actionable insights, empowering healthcare providers and patients with their best chance to arrest and recover from life-threatening conditions. Our client is seeking an exceptional Medical Science Liaison who will be at the forefront of scientific communication within a highly active region, helping to shape compelling presentations and training materials that resonate with both providers and their highly successful sales organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cultivate lasting partnerships with relevant, thought-leading disease experts, fostering collaborative alliances
• Strategically educate/inform the targeted clinical and scientific community (including payers)
• Facilitate investigator-led trials to better inform and empower their clinical/medical/commercial teams enlightening scientific dialogues
• Engage/build/develop relationships with therapeutic/clinical experts at conferences, congresses, etc.
• Collaborate with sales operations and training units to deploy highly effective field training strategies
Key Requirements:
• Advanced degree with a minimum of five years of MSL experience (Ph.D., Pharm.D, Advanced Nursing, etc.)
• Ability to travel 50% in an attractive and focused US region
• Hands-on experience within two major, serious disease areas, which we will gladly share with qualified potential candidates
• Genuine passion for enabling providers and patients to better manage (leveraging early detection) extremely serious disease states
