Chief Medical Officer
The Opportunity:
The Chief Medical Officer will lead a team of full-time and part-time providers within a well-established organization that is a stable pillar of the community, well-positioned to care for future generations. In addition to supporting rural and diverse patient populations, this leader will be instrumental in continuing to enhance service offerings, maintain a high level of community engagement, and must exemplify the organizational mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered health care with excellence, compassion, and competence.
Responsibilities:

- Deliver Top-Notch primary care services for diverse patient populations in a small hospital environment
- Serve as a valued leader, internal consultant, mentor, and resource for other providers
- Collaborate with a dynamic healthcare team to support the growing needs of the community
- Provide clinic consultations, education, and maintain accurate Electronic Medical Records
Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Ability to function with a high level of autonomy with respect to administrative tasks and delivering direct patient are required.
- Excellent communication skills and strength in exercising initiative, judgment, problem-solving, decision-making to resolve problems effectively.
- Experience with training, development, on-going mentorship, and a passion for driving innovation to deliver extraordinary care.
- Demonstrated skills in developing and maintaining effective relations in a team environment with patients and the public.
- Ability to anticipate and react calmly in emergency situations as well as to analyze and interpret complex data.
- Effective written and verbal communication as well as ability to navigate electronic medical record system.
- Knowledge of fiscal management and human resource management techniques.
Key Requirements:
-
- Medical License as an MD or DO with 8-10+ years of experience
- Completion of an approved residency program and Board Certification or Board Eligible in relevant specialty (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, etc.)
- Prior experience working with rural health populations in a Critical Access Hospital or similar setting
- DEA Certificate/CPR Certification
Compensation Package:
The compensation for this position is dependent on experience with a base salary ranging from $400,000-$500,000 annually. Exceptional benefits, PTO, retirement plan, etc. commensurate with this level position.
